How to Find the Right Home Projector for Your Home

Some people think that buying a home projector is the same as buying a TV or AV system. The cost, of course, has everything to do with which home projector that you finally decide to buy but in actual fact, spending a little bit more time researching and finding out more about home projector systems can make your investment more worthwhile.

1080p - The Future is Now!

First, we all watched NTSC video at 480i, and we liked it, because we knew no better. For the person who wants a massive screen, a Digital Light Processing (DLP) projector may be the way to go because it can project a screen that is measured in feet instead of inches. The DLP projector is also a good choice for anyone who wants their home theater to double as their living room and doesn’t want equipment messing up the decor. That’s because the projector is easily hidden and the screen can be the same type of pull down screen used in old fashioned slide shows.

Home Theater Screens

Home theater projection screens are becoming one of the must have home accessories today. They not only give that impressive look, but they also make watching TV a memorable experience.

The screen you choose for your home theater system of course doesn’t have to be a projector screen but rather can be a plasma or LCD TV. More on that in a moment.

For now lets focus on projector screens. The most basic way of categorising the screens is the front projection screen vs. the rear projection screen. Front projection screens can be further divided into fixed flat screens and curved screens. Each of these has certain advantages; for example, curved screens are lightweight and hence easy to
